Catch the debut show on Weds Nov 5th- an evening of heartfelt tunes, collaboration, and community.

    Artists in this round are:

    Dan Tait

Dan Tait is a Kelowna-based singer-songwriter celebrated for his warm, witty storytelling and heartfelt performances. Rooted in folk tradition yet unafraid of modern honesty, his songs blend acoustic soul with reflective lyrics that invite listeners to slow down and feel something real. Whether on festival stages, in cozy breweries, or at intimate songwriter circles, Dan’s performances radiate authenticity and connection. His music paints vivid pictures of love, loss, work, and wonder—often grounded in the natural beauty of the Okanagan Valley and the small moments that shape a life. Over two decades in the Canadian music scene, Dan has built a reputation as both a compelling solo artist and a passionate community builder, championing collaboration through projects like Three Little Birds and Play Your Song. His songs remind us that sincerity never goes out of style—and that stories, shared honestly, can still bring people together.

    Kristi Neumann

Born in Kalispell, Montana, and following in the footsteps of many transplanted Nashville songwriters, Kristi  successfully carved out a place for herself in a town that doesn’t forgive mediocrity. And armed with a growing catalog of self-penned tunes, her prowess as a writer, performer, and band leader has definitely turned heads. She has recently relocated to Oliver, British Columbia where she continues to play music. Kristi’s music is original and provocative. Her songs weave through themes that embrace both a wandering past and an optimistic hope for things to come. With perfect sensibility, her introspective lyrics leave just enough room for well-crafted, pop-friendly hooks.

    Lewis Cardinal

Lewis is a highly skilled guitarist and vocalist originally from Cardiff, Wales, with a passion for creating captivating musical experiences for weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions. His musical style draws inspiration from the likes of John Mayer and Chris Stapleton, resulting in a soulful, dynamic sound that is sure to enchant and delight audiences of all ages. As a performer, Lewis brings a wealth of experience and talent to every event he plays. His strong and soulful voice is the perfect complement to his intricate and nuanced guitar playing, and he has a keen sense of timing and pacing that allows him to craft performances that are engaging, entertaining, and emotionally resonant. One of Lewis's greatest strengths is his ability to read a room and tailor his performances to suit the mood and atmosphere of the occasion. He is equally comfortable playing soft, romantic ballads as he is with upbeat, danceable tunes, and he can seamlessly transition between styles to keep guests engaged and entertained throughout the event.

  • Bobby Dove

Bobby Dove, the Canadian singer-songwriter, is quickly becoming a magnetic presence in the world of Country and Americana music. With a voice as powerful as their storytelling, this trans/non-binary troubadour pays tribute to the golden age of Country, while crafting original, emotionally charged songs that "blend genres with the touch of a master." (Mary Gauthier)

In 2021 Bobby released their sophomore record, Hopeless Romantic, coproduced with Blue Rodeo's Bazil Donovan, and Tim Vesely (Rheostatics), which gained international acclaim and climbed the Canadian Roots and US Alt-Country radio charts. The album earned Bobby a record deal in the Netherlands, leading to their first European tour in 2022/23. Bobby Dove has given highlight performances at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Vancouver Island Music Fest, Winnipeg Folk Fest and Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht, NL. Along the road, Bobby has collaborated with luminaries such as Fats Kaplin, Mary Gauthier, Richard Thompson, Ray Benson, and Lavender Country.

"I’m not sure if Hank Williams or Hank Snow kept a mistress in Montreal or Manitoba maybe we didn’t hear about and passed some genes down, or what has possessed Bobby Dove to become like a vessel or channeller for all the great classic country music influences we so sorely miss.” - Saving Country Music (USA)

In search of extra cash, she took a chance on busking and quickly fell in love—it was performing like the theatre she did growing up, but she didn’t have to “be” someone else. People stayed for her.

Starting with covers, she eventually tried songwriting. At first, she hated it! But as she found her voice—funny, witty, wordy, and universal—it became an extension of who Ishe is. Now, songwriting and storytelling define her, and she couldn’t be more grateful to have stumbled into this path.

    SUMMER GARDEN MUSIC SERIES 2026

    THURSDAY AUG 27TH

  • WiL and Company

WiL's shows have been coined as legendary; his guitar style; ‘mesmerizing’; captivating listeners with his unusual strumming technique while creating lush, fat and full acoustic guitar sounds that have become signature to the enigmatic fiery, silver bearded frontman that heads up the west coast based Indie folk rock outfit known as wiL and Company. Yet, how is it that an artist known for conjuring sensitive singer song craft like Travel Alberta's soaring anthem 'Roam' or the live show tear jerker ‘I’m Sorry’ be the decidedly un-wimpy frontman whose website was coined from routinely breaking strings???

The answer is found in the juxtaposition of it all. Like life, there is delicate balance between good and bad, light and dark, soft and hard. “I enjoy the profound dichotomy of writing a delicate lovely piece of music and then performing the shit out of it live. It’s unexpected and it can unnerve people; especially if they expected something a bit more tame. I’m not a sit-on-a stool performer. I’ll put my soda cranberry on one but that’s where it ends. If I’m not sweating buckets by the fourth song there is definitely something going wrong”.

This show will be under the tent in the garden.
